We are recruiting students to join the lab at the University of Oklahoma Department of Biology!

Please see the JOIN US! page for details.

Research in the lab seeks to understand how animals respond to challenging social environments. How do brief social interactions lead to long-term changes in physiology and behavior, both within and across generations? What mechanisms encode social experience into organismal function? When is this plasticity adaptive or maladaptive? We use experimental and observational approaches in the field and the lab that integrate tools from behavioral endocrinology and genomics across scales, from the molecular to the evolutionary.
